As part of its economic diversification strategy, the Sultanate of Oman has established several special economic, industrial, and free zones aimed at attracting both national and foreign investments. These zones offer a range of incentives to investors.
The free zones provide a comprehensive package of investment incentives and facilities, including tax exemptions, streamlined procedures for licenses and permits, the ability to import all goods permitted in the country, exemption from minimum investment requirements, freedom to use foreign currencies, and income tax exemptions on profits, among other benefits.
