Tasks and Objectives of the Program:

• Building Partnerships Establishing a collaborative ecosystem with public and private institutions, academia, entrepreneurs, and civil society organizations to unify efforts in the field of artificial intelligence and advanced digital technologies. This aims to develop local capacities and competencies by aligning them with labor market requirements.

• Encouraging the Use of AI Promoting the use of artificial intelligence and advanced digital technologies in developmental sectors such as education, health, defense, security, social care, and improving the quality of government services.

• Stimulating Productive Sectors Contributing to the stimulation of productive sectors targeted for economic diversification by enhancing their performance and making these sectors more attractive through the integration of artificial intelligence and advanced digital technologies.

• Localizing Industries Localizing industries that produce essential components used in artificial intelligence and advanced digital technologies by involving the private sector, small and medium enterprises, and emerging technology companies in executing related initiatives and projects.

• Supporting Educational Modernization Supporting the modernization of the education system to meet the technical requirements in artificial intelligence and advanced digital technologies, enhancing individuals' competitive skills, and encouraging scientific research and innovation.

• Creating a Flexible Regulatory Environment Establishing a flexible regulatory framework and legislation that aligns with the requirements of artificial intelligence and advanced digital technologies by updating relevant systems, laws, and strategies.

• Setting Standards and Indicators Identifying and reviewing measurement standards and indicators to assess the Sultanate of Oman's progress in adopting artificial intelligence and advanced digital technologies compared to regional and global countries.
